1. Warranty
MotoDirecta’s used motorcycles are supplied with a 12-month warranty, the agreed statutory period for second-hand goods sold by a professional under Article 120 of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007. Each motorcycle is inspected before delivery.
Exception — intermediary sale between private individuals: some vehicle pages expressly identify a managed private sale. The owner is the seller and the professional consumer warranty described above does not apply. MotoDirecta acts as intermediary and the motorcycle is still inspected.
The warranty covers a lack of conformity that existed on delivery. It does not cover normal later wear, consumables unless their delivery condition differed from what was agreed, or damage caused by misuse, negligence or missing maintenance.
Report a covered fault to info@motodirecta.es. Time spent in a covered repair does not reduce the warranty period.
2. Distance purchases
If the entire purchase is concluded at a distance and the motorcycle is delivered without the customer visiting the premises, the customer has 14 calendar days from physical receipt to withdraw without giving a reason, subject to Articles 102 and following of the Spanish consumer law.
Notify info@motodirecta.es within the period using a clear statement. Return the motorcycle within 14 calendar days after that notice. Unless MotoDirecta agrees otherwise, the customer arranges and bears the direct return transport.
The motorcycle price is refunded using the applicable statutory process. MotoDirecta may withhold reimbursement until the motorcycle is received or return is evidenced, and may deduct loss in value caused by handling beyond what is needed to establish the vehicle’s nature, characteristics and operation.
Costs and taxes required to transfer the returned motorcycle back to MotoDirecta are borne as stated in the pre-contract information and agreement. Damage during customer-arranged return transport remains the customer’s risk.
3. Purchases at the premises
A purchase inspected and completed at MotoDirecta’s premises does not carry a statutory change-of-mind withdrawal right. The sale remains subject to the applicable 12-month warranty. Customers should inspect the motorcycle and resolve questions before signing.
